Jon and Daniela Perieda - Founders

Bilingual Family began as Daniela's dream. With the love, support and encouragement of Jon, it became a reality. As we began making plans to start a family, the meaning of Bilingual Family evolved. We are committed not only to raising bilingual children, but we are also committed to creating a program we will feel fortunate to send our children to. A program where children are respected as individuals and their unique gifts and skills are fostered. A program that will become a model education reform. A program where families feel supported and connected.

Join us in creating a community of bilingual families.

Daniela Perieda - Program Director

Daniela is passionate about Bilingualism and Education reform.  She is the author of "Become a Bilingual Family - The Best Method For Raising Bilingual Children, Even If You Only Speak One Language" and is the President - Elect for The Oklahoma Association for Bilingual Education. Daniela holds a Family Life Education - Child Development degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Daniela helps parents create meaningful relationships with their children while learning Spanish. She believes teachers and families play an important role in the development of the WHOLE child. For this reason, her goal is to create a community of bilingual families.

Tatiana Echeverry - Instructor

I was born in Cali, Colombia and moved to Miami, Florida where I spent most of my childhood. I will be graduating in the Fall of 2017 with a bachelors degree in Marriage and Family Life Education and a minor in Sociology from the University of Central Oklahoma. I love being a part of Bilingual Family because I love seeing the students learn something new every day and how much knowing a second language will help them get ahead in their future. We have a great atmosphere and it is a joy to spend my time with the kids.

Rosalinda Rivera - Instructor

I was born in Duncan, Oklahoma and hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Cameron University. Spanish has always been a primary language in the household since both of my parents were born and raised in Mexico. I have been working with children for many years and enjoy being a part of their developmental learning. Integrating a second language into children's learning is beneficial to their future and creates a better understanding of the language and culture. I am excited I can be a part of that here at Bilingual Family.
